How Ruri works, what is free and how to manage your account.
What is Ruri?
Ruri is an international dating app for adults aged 18 and over. It is available on Android through Google Play.
Is Ruri free?
Downloading Ruri, matching and chatting are free. Some actions may use credits or rewarded ads. Premium and optional extras are paid; Google Play shows the final price before purchase.
How do international matches work?
Discovery uses your location and preferences. Travel lets you explore another city. Both people still choose whether to like and match; changing location does not guarantee a match.
How do likes and matches work?
Like a profile that interests you. A mutual like creates a match so you can chat. Free normal likes can require a refill; Premium removes rewarded-ad steps. Likes You reveals depend on available access.
What does Premium include?
Premium includes normal likes, Undo and Travel without rewarded-ad steps, and automatic Likes You reveals. It is a recurring weekly subscription. Boosts and Priority Likes are separate extras. Check current terms in the app.
What are Boosts and Priority Likes?
A Boost raises your position in eligible Discovery results for five minutes. A Priority Like reveals your profile with a badge and gives it priority in eligible Discovery. Neither guarantees views, replies or matches.
How does Incognito work?
During an active Incognito pass, your profile is hidden from ordinary Discovery unless you have liked that person. Existing matches and conversations remain available. A purchased pass adds seven days.
How does Travel work?
Choose another city for Discovery. Premium does not use ads or Travel credits. Otherwise, a credit is used before an ad is requested. Returning to your current area is free.
What does face verification mean?
Optional photo comparison adds context to a profile. A verification badge does not guarantee identity, age, intentions or safety. Keep using your judgment and report suspicious behavior.
How do I report or block someone?
Use Report or Block on the relevant profile or conversation. Report the concern and stop contact if needed. You can also unmatch. If you cannot access the app, contact support.
How do I cancel a subscription?
In Google Play, open Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions, select Ruri and follow the cancellation steps. Uninstalling Ruri or deleting your account does not cancel the subscription. Check Google Play for its end date.
How do I delete my account?
Open Profile → Settings → Delete account and confirm, or follow the account-deletion page to request deletion by email. Uninstalling is not account deletion. Manage any Google Play subscription separately.
